How to Use a Wax Vape Tank 

To use your dab tank, ensure that the wax atomizer 510 is properly screwed to your Mod or vape pen, then remove the top cover/mouthpiece to expose the heating element. 

Carefully scoop in a small amount of wax into the coil using your dab tool, and reattach the mouthpiece. Overloading the heating chamber with too many dabs can block the airpath and possibly lead to leakage, thus messing up your device. 

Now, turn on your unit and select the lowest temperature for best results. Inhale through the mouthpiece. You can slightly increase the temperature if it’s not heating well. 

How to Clean a Wax Vape Tank 

Not cleaning your atomizer regularly will lead to low performance, and trust me, you don’t want that. After about a week of constantly using your dab pen coils for dabbing, they will become messy and sticky too, and if you leave them unclean for too long, the residue becomes very strong, making it difficult to clean. 

To clean your wax tank, simply detach the tank from the Mod and remove the mouthpiece. Carefully scrape out the leftovers from the dab tank. You can then do a quick clean with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. I recommend you do this every now and then to keep your coils clean at all times. 

A more thorough maintenance is required if your wax atomizer is very dirty. Soak your coils in isopropyl alcohol for about 30 minutes, remove, rinse, and wipe gently with a paper towel. Allow to dry out completely before using them to vape again.

Dab pen coils are made from different materials, and this will affect the taste and overall vaping experience you get from the device.


Ceramic coils are one of the best coils for vaping concentrates. They are built with ceramic rods wrapped with food-safe metal. Ceramic tanks are slow to heat up, but they have high heat retention and produce better flavors.
